Bekian Joins Lucha Lords

Lucha Lords

ProHD Rentals very own Bob Bekian has joined forces with the masters of the ring to become an Associate Producer on Lords of the Lucha.  The Indy reality show, produced by JJ Paredes, Andrew Hernandez and Carlos Hernandez will focus on the dynamic, entertaining world of Lucha-Libre or Mexican wrestling.

The carnival environment that the second most popular sport in Mexico (after soccer) has recently grown in popularity in Southern California, crossing over into mainstream pop culture.  Replete with good guys and bad guys, wrestling and drama, this underground-gone-mainstream phenomena provides hours of outrageous entertainment and quite a wild ride.  This is not your typical soap opera drama that traditional wrestling creates.  Rather, this is a mystical, comical, fantastical world of experience in which the audience must surrender their fundamental grasp of reality and let this exotic world envelop them.

The reality show will prove both insightful and entertaining.  The producers hope that this introduction to an unseen, unfamiliar, yet grossly popular venue will attract a curious audience that will continue to return for more folly and more wrestling.
