This week the Santa Monica facility hosts another round of Paul Rodriguez and his new hit series on MTV/Tr3 “Mis Videos Locos.”
ProHD Rentals is a full service equipment and green screen facility that caters to the increasing demands of the independent film scene. The digital revolution is a growing movement that voices the freedom of expression of millions. And ProHD Rentals is there to help. Both at home and abroad it is important to give a platform to all forms of creativity, which is why ProHD Rentals is also proud to serve the Latina community.
Funny Man Paul Rodriguez
Rodriguez’s new series features home videos provider by viewers of some of the craziest crashes, gaffes and accidents that you can imagine. Because the series is dependent primarily on user generated content, the demands of the show’s format are simple. Place Rodriguez in a green screen environment and let him riff on the videos. Loyal Studios/Santa Monica is just the home for this type of programming.
This particular series is even more fascinating in its evolution. The producers of the show were looking for assistance in producing the sizzle reel. Bob Bekian, of ProHD Rentals, stepped in to help. With his collaboration and team approach allowed the producers to complete the much needed reel to show to network executives. There was enough sizzle for the cable channel to order a pilot.
The producers returned to Bekian for additional collaboration in the production of the pilot. Once again, the show was a hit and MTV/tr3 ordered more episodes. Noting that this sequence of events would not have been possible without the full cooperation, understanding and team effort that Bekian’s crew at ProHD Rentals put together, the producers determined to shoot the entire series at our Loyal Studios/Santa Monica green screen facility.
It just goes to show you that we aren’t called Loyal Studios for nothing. ¿Comprende?
